Golf Digest Hotlist iPhone AppGolf Digest came to us with a need to showcase their annual Hotlist issue in a mobile format. In years past, readers of the magazine would bring the physical magazine into their local pro shops, hold it up and say, "I want that one." To help reduce that payload (and engineer a Facebook-Connected gem of a mobile app) we developed this iPhone application and a companion microsite.

Vanity Fair Hollywood AppVanity Fair came to Sanborn looking for an iPhone application to serve as a digital, mobile, and social companion piece to their annual Hollywood issue. The challenge (as is the case with all apps) was to present something either entertaining or useful... and the result was a little bit of both. Users can vote for their awards show picks and then see how those picks compare with Facebook friends and other users of the app. Voting pools can be created and tracked the night of the event while news and special offers in the form of articles, slideshows and videos from VF and L'Oréal round out the feature set.

Cosmopolitan's Sex Position of the Day AppWhen George Steinbrenner calls and asks you to play shortstop for the New York Yankees... you don't ask questions... you just say yes and report for spring training. And when Cosmo magazine asks you to take their hugely popular Sex Positions content and send it into the mobile space (without pants but with a highly intuitive, visually stunning interface) you just say yes and report to your local place of worship to ask for a temporary reprieve. This one was pure fun.

Rachel Roy & Vogue iPhone WebsiteThis interactive look book in the form of a mobile site formatted specifically for the iPhone includes 13 fall looks personally selected by Rachel Roy from her Fall 2009 line. When a full-blown iPhone application is either cost-prohibitive or simply too much fire power given the project goals... an "iPhone site" is an attractive option.

Vanity Fair Campaign New York Walking Guide for iPhoneAs part of their "Campaign New York" event, Vanity Fair produced a walking tour of shops along Madison Avenue. Similar to an audio tour one might find in a museum, Sanborn created a mobile site that allowed attendees of the event to download and listen to guided audio tours voiced by Vanity Fair editors who narrated each shop showcased in the program.
